Daniel T. Johanson

Our dear brother Daniel Thomas Johanson, a resident of Charlemont, went home to be with his Lord Jesus on March 11, 2024.

Daniel was born on April 6, 1965. He was predeceased by his parents William and Bernadette and his brother Billy. He leaves behind two sisters Ann (James) Muckell, Susan (Robert) Cudney and one brother David (Maria) Johanson. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Daniel and his parents settled in Shelburne Falls where Daniel graduated from Mohawk Trail High School. Of all the places Daniel lived, his heart was always on the Mohawk Trail. He loved living there and his life revolved around playing the guitar of which he excelled and loving his dogs Ben and Lily. He took care of our Dad until he passed away in 2014. He last resided in Charlemont.

Daniel was loved by everyone who knew him. All of his Facebook friends, church friends, friends in Massachusetts and his family will miss him very much. Being a Christian we know he is with his Lord Jesus. He is whole again, no more pain, and he is united with his Mom, Dad and Billy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 1:00 pm, at the Charlemont Federated Church, 175 Main St., Charlemont.
